Anna Silk

Anna Silk was born in the month of January in 1974. The most famous role she has played is Bo in Showcase's Lost Girl television series. Silk is an actor from Canada who was born in Fredericton New Brunswick. Ilkay Silk and Peter Silk are the parents of Silk. Ilkay is a playwright and director. She also teaches drama in St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna is a bit of a child with earliest memories of watching and attending play rehearsals. Silk appeared as a little girl in commercials. The year 1997 was the time she earned an associate's degree from St. Thomas University. The early stage work she did included at the very least two productions for Theatre St. Thomas: Seven Menus and The Kitchen. Silk moved from Toronto in November 1999, to Los Angeles California to pursue her acting career. Seth Cooperman is her future partner, which she discovered at the time of her meeting in Los Angeles at an Actors Workshop. Following their engagement in 2008, they got married in 2009. The couple renewed their vows on April 10th, 2011 in Fredericton following the time that Silk converted to Judaism. Silk gave birth to an infant son Samuel Jerome Cooperman in May 2013. Levi Aaron, Silk's second child was born in the month of May of 2016. Silk is a variety of roles on television, among them Cassidy Holland from Being Erica. She was nominated for Gemini Awards in 2009 for this role. The Canadian series Lost Girl cast her as Bo Dennis, the lead character in the succubus. Silk got pregnant in the course of production of the final season episode. She announced the pregnancy to fans of the series in a Showcase pre-show Season Three special on January 6th, 2013. Silk tweeted on June 20th 2013 that the series was returning for a fourth season of production. The fourth season began on June 4th 2013 by Showcase and Prodigy Pictures. The CNN Cable News Network named her portrayal of Bo along with Lauren (Zoie Parker) on Lost Girl as same-sex couples among their top TV Couples. E! named them the Top Television Couple for 2013. Entertainment Television. Due to Silk's popularity Silk has gained a large online following on social media.
