Alison Wright (born in England) is an English actor from England. Her most famous role was Martha Hanson in the FX spy period show The Americans. She received criticism and nominations for a Primetime Emmy Award for this. The other roles she has played include the Ryan Murphy series Feud, Bette & Joan in Hollywood. Wright was born in Sunderland on the 12th of July 1976. Her upbringing was influenced by her adoptive family. She began dancing and acting at a young age. She was educated at the New York City's Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute as well as The Barrow Group. When she was auditioning to be cast in roles, she worked as serving as a waitress. When she went scuba diving at sea - a hobby of hers - she was struck by a heart attack that left her a victim with a condition that was similar to a coma. After six days, her wonderful family gathered at her hospital bed to grieve. Wright, who was born at Sunderland within Tyne and Wear on July 12th of 1976, was brought up there by her adoptive parents. She began dancing and acting at a young age. She attended The Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute as well as The Barrow Group, both in New York City. Alison Fesq Haislip, an American actor, was a former TV presenter on Attack of the Show! The Voice was a reality singing contest on NBC as well as G4's first G4 channel.
